Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) expanded by 3.98% year-on-year in real terms in the third quarter of 2025, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.

The figure marks an acceleration from the 3.86% growth recorded in the same quarter of 2024.
The agricultural sector contributed to the improved performance, growing by 3.79% in Q3 2025 compared with 2.55% in Q3 2024, reflecting stronger output in crops, livestock, and fisheries during the period.
