NSCDC Arrests 10 Over Vandalism, Kidnapping

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in a swift operation, arrested 10 suspects linked to vandalism of critical infrastructure, kidnapping, theft, and related offences across the FCT and neighbouring states.

ACC Afolabi Babawale, National Public Relations Officer, NSCDC National Headquarters, Abuja, in a statement indicated that the operation, carried out by the CG’s Special Intelligence Squad, in collaboration with the CG’s Crack Squad, followed credible intelligence and reinforced operational directives of Commandant-General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi.

Babawale stated that exhibits recovered from the suspects include vandalised armoured cables and dangerous weapons. He said that the suspects would be charged to court.

The Corps reiterated its zero-tolerance stance against economic sabotage and remains committed to protecting lives and national assets.
