President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu have paid glowing tribute to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, as he marks his 84th birthday on March 2, 2026.

In a joint message issued on March 1, the President described Pastor Adeboye as “one of our nation’s greatest gifts” and a “spiritual fortress” who continually intercedes for Nigeria and its people.
Tinubu commended the cleric’s humility and depth of wisdom, noting that his impact extends beyond the pulpit to philanthropy, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment initiatives that have benefited countless Nigerians.
The President and the First Lady congratulated Pastor Adeboye—fondly known as Daddy G.O.—as well as his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, members of the RCCG, and the broader Christian community, expressing gratitude to God for what they described as his exceptional life of service and influence across cultures and borders.
They also acknowledged his unceasing prayers for the nation and praised his patriotic zeal and commitment to Nigeria’s progress.
Highlighting his leadership over the past five decades, the presidential couple noted that Pastor Adeboye’s teachings have continued to shape and transform lives across generations, both within Nigeria and internationally.
The President and First Lady prayed for continued good health, strength, and divine grace for the revered cleric as he continues his ministry work.
