Ajibade, Adesile, Sonde-Ikokoh to Lead Ogun Youth Council Directorates

In a significant move towards youth engagement and representation, the 10th State Executive Council of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter, is set to announce the full membership composition of its State Directorates on Thursday, February 1, 2024. The announcement was confirmed by Com. Adejoke Adeoye, the State Deputy-Chairman of the Council, during an online media parley at Ogun Youth House, MKO Abiola Stadium, on January 29, 2024.

These Directorates, integral arms of the Youth Council, are tasked with reflecting and engaging with relevant stakeholders on specific thematic sectors, ensuring the overall interests of the youth constituency.

Revealing the composition of these Directorates, Adeoye confirmed the appointment of the following young persons as Heads of some portfolios: Dr. Kola Mustapha of Abeokuta South Local Government, Com. Tosin Adesile of The Youth Network on HIV/AIDS (NYNETHA), Com. Iyanu Sonde—Ikokoh of the Nigerian Girls Guide Association, Com. Adedeji Ajibade of Imeko Afon Local Government, Com. Moses Awonaya of Ijebu East Local Government, Commandant John T Taiwo of the Man O War Nigeria among others.

Also appointed as Special Adviser and Special Assistants to the State Chairman of Youth Council are: Muhammad Giwa, Abiodun Oyewo, Oluwanisola Sanni, Semiat Abolade and Olukoyejo Morenikeji.

The appointed members will be presented their Letters of Appointments at the forthcoming State Ceremony slated for Thursday February 1, 2024, at the June 12 Cultural Center, Abeokuta
