Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, officially commenced the distribution of food packs to 500,000 households as part of the Eko Cares initiative, a comprehensive program encompassing various social interventions announced by the State Government. The launch event took place at the Sports Ground of the Governor’s Office in Alausa, Ikeja.
The initiative aims to provide essential support to vulnerable households across Lagos State, particularly during challenging times. Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of residents and alleviating hardship, especially in the face of economic difficulties and other societal challenges.
With the distribution of food packs, the government seeks to address food insecurity and ensure that families have access to nutritious meals.
