EndBadGovernanceinNigeria: Protest commences in Lagos,Abuja, Others

The EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protest had commenced across various locations in Nigeria.

The Protest which started on Thursday 1st of August is expected to End on the 10th of August if Government fails to address protesters demands.

Early today, protesters gathered in Abuja in front of MKO Abiola Stadium to express their displeasure on rising cost of goods and bad governance in Nigeria.

Similarly, protesters gathered in Ikeja Lagos and were seen in their large numbers walking and chanting solidarity songs.

In Port harcourt, protesters are also seen gathering while the media were seen in ground to report the various situation.

The #Endbadgovernance protest is organised to call attention of the government to poverty level in the country which makes feeding difficult for many. Protesters have come out to show their dissatisfaction against economic hardship and the prevailing rate of hunger in country.

As at the time of filling this report, around 10 states have joined the protest while others are gearing up.

State like Yobe, Port Harcourt, Gombe, Kano, Kaduna, Sokoto, Edo, Jigawa, Rivers, Oyo, Bauchi, Lagos, and Abuja have taken lead in the protest.
