The Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) branch at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has commenced a protest over undisclosed grievances.
The protest, which started early this morning, has seen union members gathering at the university’s main gate, carrying placards and chanting slogans.
Details of the union’s demands are yet to be made public, but sources suggest that the protest is related to issues of welfare, salaries, and working conditions.
The protest is currently peaceful, with security personnel on standby to maintain order.
