On Tuesday 3rd of March 2026, Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, Yoruba nation agitator wore a face cap that has the logo of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) to attend Oba Rasheed Ladoja’s first Ramadan lecture after his coronation as Olubadan of Ibadan land.

It became a viral and controversial topic on social media that Chief Sunday Igboho, who vowed not to stop the agitation to separate Yoruba Nation from the Republic of Nigeria, has started supporting the ruling party.
Igboho, who previously said even having a Yoruba president, will never stop his dreams of succession of Southwest State from Nigeria to have Yoruba Nation.
Reacting to this, on Friday, Sunday Igboho publicly came out and openly prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to have the strength in good health to rule the country for 8 years.
Igboho promised to campaign for Tinubu reelection bid for a second term stating that he would still be in exile and not be removed from the list of wanted people by security agencies if not for the intervention of President Bola Tinubu.
He said he would vote for President Tinubu and that he would win the election. He urged Yoruba people to vote for Tinubu, saying that there can not be any Yoruba Nation without the support of people like Tinibu.
Recalled that on the 6th of June 2021, Chief Sunday Igboho declared at Yoruba Nation Rally in Ado Ekiti that there won’t be an election in the Southwest in 2023, citing the Yoruba race was already weary of the Fulani alleged feudal and political dominance in the country.
Before people judge you by what you say, the actions you take and association you belong.
However, in recent times, people judge you by what you wear and the symbols in your attires.
As the 2027 election approaches, political actors and social activists need to be careful about what they wear because people will read the meaning to it.
I remember during the pre-election campaign in 2023, people were checking the prices of outfits, accessories, and even shoes that political candidates wear to the public.
As the election approaches, people will start getting unimaginable juice offers from politicians and their parties. Those who think they stand well may be compelled to change their decisions and beliefs if these offers come to their feet.
The Internet doesn’t forget, and history will not also forget.
Nigerians should be watchful not to be deceived by sheep among wolves.
