Breaking: Abiodun orders demolition of Gbenga Daniel’s wife DATKEM Plaza in Ijebu Ode

Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State has ordered the demolition of the wife of Otunba Gbenga Daniel’s Datkem plaza in Ijebu,-Ode worth billions of naira.

According to a report issued by the construction engineer for the building,Engr Olusegun Lawal said the demolition commenced at 3am earlier today.

He said the building is a 5 story building whose construction started in 2009 and scheduled for commissioning by end of September 2023.

According to the report, the Ground floor and the mezzanine is a banking hall while one of the floor is to house Ogun East Senator Office adding that a lone elevator has already been installed by Kresta laurel Ltd with about 80 brand news split airconditioners and 150KVA Generator set.

On reasons why the building was demolished by the government was lack of parking space,inadequate muster point, inadequate airspace.

“There are no concrete fence but only metal grills to ensure proper airflow”,he said in the statement

The Engineer said he was worried that the notice of demolition came 3 days ago and exactly 3am on sunday, taskforce visited the building.

Our correspondent who sent a message to Otunba Gbenga Daniel,Former Governor and wife of Yeye Olufunke Daniel who is currently a senator at the green chamber on his reaction is yet to get a feedback.

It would be recalled that Governor Dapo Abiodun and Otunba Gbenga Daniel started having issues during the 2023 gubernatorial election where it was learnt that Abiodun was reliably informed that Gbenga Daniel supported Hon Ladi Adebutu running on the platform of PDP while jettisoning Abiodun who secured the APC senatorial slot for him.

  1. Dog eats dog 😇😂 Let Abiodun and Daniel destroy each other. After all, they’re birds of same plumage…both are enemies of Ogun people. In time to come, both of them will account for their mismanagement of Ogun state resources in their times as governors of the state.
