Troops of the Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI successfully combated terrorists attempts to overrun troops’ locations in Konduga, Marte, Jakana and Mainok in Borno state.

Operation HADIN KAI says the attacks were launched early in the morning, which was overwhelmingly resisted by troops.
The troops responded with a well-coordinated reinforcement teams drawn from Sectors 1 and 2, thus routing the attacking terrorists and forcing them into withdrawals.
During the engagements, several terrorists including key Leaders were eliminated, while
all base remain firmly under the control of troops.
The statement adds, close coordination with the Air Component, multiple precision air strikes were conducted overnight against fleeing terrorists further eliminating scores of the criminals.
During the operation, several weapons were recovered while a number of soldiers paid the supreme price including a gallant Officer.
