Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted another commodity laden vessel from the port of Santos in Brazil at the Apapa seaport in Lagos with no less than 20 kilograms of the Class A drug buried under its cargo.

The illicit drug consignment was discovered on board the vessel by NDLEA officers, 20 crew members including Master and  captain of the ship who are all Filipinos were taken into custody for investigation.

The NDLEA Boss Brig Gen Buba Marwa says Nigeria will continue to tighten it grip on all entry and exit points, especially the sea port, which many criminals tend to exploit.
