The Nigeria Immigration Service has arrested a man wanted for alleged kidnapping and ritual killing in Enugu State.
This was disclosed In a statement, Akinsola Akinlabi, Nigeria Immigration Service Public Relations Officer said Obi also known as Obu was arrested at the Gbaji checkpoint along the Badagry-Seme Road while trying to flee the country.
The suspect, is said to have a linked to the abduction of a 13-year-old girl, who was later rescued from a shrine. Authorities say the suspect has confessed and his identity was confirmed through a national Identity slip found on him.
The statement adds that the Nigeria Immigration Service is working with the police for further investigation.
