Oluremi Tinubu, Nigerian First Lady, has urged Nigerians to work together to reduce stigma, promote early diagnosis, and strengthen commitment to eliminating hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.

The First Lady Oluremi Tinubu stated this in her message to mark this year’s World Hepatitis Day, noting she joins the global community in raising awareness about viral hepatitis and the urgent need to expand access to prevention, testing, treatment and care.
She describes the theme of the celebration “Hepatitis: Let’s Vreak It Down,” as a reminder of the need to increase commitment to educating people about the disease, while working to remove barriers that prevent people from accessing life-saving health services.
