Troops of Operation HADIN KAI in Bitta successfully foiled a large-scale JAS/ISWAP terrorist attack at about 10:25pm on 27 Jul 25, In a display of bravery and tactical superiority.
The attackers, advancing from the Damboa axis, briefly breached the defensive perimeter but were swiftly overpowered after an intense firefight. Several terrorists were neutralized, and AK-47 rifles were recovered, with no casualties recorded among the troops.
On 28 Jul 25, the Ag GOC 7 Division, alongside key commanders, visited Bitta to assess the situation and ordered the immediate remobilization of troops.
The general situation remains calm though unpredictable, while troop morale and combat readiness remain high.
