The University of Lagos has described as fake, a notice circulating on the internet, purported to have been issued by its management, announcing the sum of Fifty Thousand Naira (50, 000) as online lectures and examination fee for its returning students.
According to a statement issued by the university, students and the general public are enjoined to disregard the notice, as it is “false”. The institution states further that students would commence online lectures on Monday, January 25, 2021 at no cost.
The management advised stakeholders and interested persons to, at all times, refer to the school’s official and social media handles for authentic information about the University.
