Following the protest embarked upon today by the Sunshine football Club and Sunshine queens in Akure,Ondo State,Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has set up a 3-member management committee to take over the affairs of the Ondo State Football Agency and by extension, the Sunshine Football Club and the Sunshine Queens.
The committee is headed by the Deputy Governor,Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa who is the Chairman of the committee.
The committee will be in place for 60 days from today, March 30, 2021 during which it must find a suitable investor to take over the Sunshine Star Football Club on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement.
