Some Nigerians have taken to streets to celebrate the 64th Independence anniversary of country.
The protesters converged at under bridge in Ikeja, Lagos State to express dissatisfaction over the unending hardship facing the masses.
The demonstrators were seen carrying various placards with different inscriptions like; ‘Reverse Electricity Tariffs Hike’, Place All ‘Political Office Holders on the minimum wage’, ‘Free Adaramoye Michael Lenin’, among others.
Sparklight News gathered that there heavy security presence at the venue of the protest.
As at the time of filing this report, the protest has remained peaceful.
