All Progressives Congress, APC, has openly accused Rabiu Kwankwaso, Presidential Aspirant of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) of playing internal aggressive political games in a bid to ridicule the political weight of the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje politically, in Kano state.
Abdul Kareem Kana, APC National Adviser, made this known during his interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, where he put a chunk of blame on Rabiu Kwankwaso and NNPP leadership; for being the brain behind the strokes of protests to remove Ganduje from his position as the APC Chairman.
Speaking further, Abdul Kareem Kana stated that NNPP’s leadership and Kwankwaso have failed already with this plot, maintaining assertively, “These actions are aimed at scratching our surface, but they lack the capability to destabilise us.”
Abdul Kareem Kana also defended concisely, the track record of Abdullahi Ganduje, emphasizing that he has had the privilege to work with the former governor; and he has witnessed his dedication and inclusive leadership as a seasoned administrator whose contributions are immeasurable.
Ladipo Johnson, the National Publicity Secretary of NNPP, in response to the allegations made by Abdul Kareem fired back, maintaining that, Kwankwaso has never directly involved himself in Ganduje’s internal issues as the Chairman of APC, stating further that the problem Ganduje is facing is personal, not due to any external influence.
“Ganduje’s troubles stem from his own actions, not any external interference. He’s currently embroiled in conflicts with his ward’s party executives and lacks the courage to face the charges against him in court,” Johnson said.
