Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu, Temitope Ajayi said Former Vice President Atiku’s anger on the construction of Lagos-Calabar road should have reduced or no longer be there; as Federal Government signed the approval for private sector participation in the construction of Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project.
Temitope made this known on Wednesday, May 15 2024 on his X(formerly Twitter) handle, following the critiques of Atiku Abubakar on concession of the road.
In his post, he said: “Atiku has been the most vociferous and strident in his opposition to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway. Alhaji Atiku and friends can now get the concession for Sokoto-Badagry highway. The more the merrier!”
The Senior Special Assistant, however, also informed the members of the public about that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has given the ‘go-ahead’ for the procurement the Sokoto-Illela-Badagry highway to connect with Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
