There are fresh indications that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) may call of its strike this week.
Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila,Speaker House of Representatives assured that the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) would be over in a few days.
He said this in a meeting with President of ASUU, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke and the leadership of the union on Monday evening.
Osodeke said if the House had intervened in the manner it has over the matter at the beginning of the problem, the strike would have been over in a matter of days.
This coincide with the statement of legal counsel to ASUU,Barrister Femi Falana during a function in Lagos that the strike will be called off.
