The Department of State Service (DSS) has denied the arrest of Sanyaolu Juwon, National Coordinator of Take It Back Movement.
This was disclosed on Thursday in a social media post on X by the DSS which states, “Juwon Sanyaolu, Coordinator of TAKE IT BACK MOVEMENT is NOT with the DSS. He was NOT invited, arrested or detained by the Service.
Juwon was part of the right activist preparing for June 12 protest before his disappearance on June 11, he had sent a message to relatives that he had been arrested.
Earlier On Tuesday, 11th of June 2024, Benjamin Hundeyin, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, said, “I am not aware of any such information.”
