Joan Onyemachi Mrapkpor, popularly known as ‘Ada Anioma’ a former Commissioner for Higher Education of the state, and also a former member of Federal House of Representatives, has been abducted by unknown individuals.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident occurred inside a church located around (Delta Broadcasting Service), Asaba, Delta State.
An eyewitness gave an account of the incident: “We all ran due to the heavy gun shooting. It just happened about a few minutes ago; one aide was shot dead, and a security personnel is unconscious now.”
SP Bright Edafe, Delta Police Spokesperson, confirmed the abduction and the casualties of the unfortunate scenerio.
The Spokesperson said the Delta State Police Command lost one of its officers during the attack by these unknown persons.
He, however, assured the members of the public that the Police operatives of the State are doing their investigations already; and the culprits shall be apprehended.
