Ex- NBA President, Olumide Akpata, Wins Labour Party Governorship Ticket For Edo

Olumide Akpata, former National Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), has been declared winner of Edo Labour Party (LP) Governorship primary election

He emerged the winner of the primary after polling the highest number of votes.

Akpata scored 316 votes to win the exercise held in Benin City, the Edo State capital, on Friday.

Ikechukwu Emetu, Deputy governor of Abia State, who is the returning officer for the poll made the declaration after collating the results.
