Following a wide spread report that the Academic Staff Union of Universities,(ASUU) has commenced a nationwide strike from tommorow.
It was however learnt that the decision on strike will be announced on monday.
The members of the National Executive Council of ASUU are currently meeting.
The NEC comprises national, zonal officers, and branch chairpersons.
On why ASUU relocates meeting venue,it was simply University of Lagos administrative protocols.
The University of Lagos auditorium managment manages usage of hall in Unilag. A programme venue maybe changed if there are earlier booking.

The union has earlier described as “shameful” the continued defence of IPPIS by the Federal Government despite reported fraud in it’s implementation as indicated in the 2021 report submitted to the National Assembly by the Auditor General of the Federation.
