Dr Kayode Fayemi, Governor Ekiti State has presented to the Ekiti State House of Assembly a proposed budget of N100,753,993,241.60k for the 2022 fiscal year.
The Appropriation Bill comprised N60,686,914,229.22k as recurrent expenditure and N40,067,079,021.38k as capital expenditure.
This Budget proposal is a product of wide consultation with the public through Town Hall meetings held across the three Senatorial Districts and various engagements with our Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), and other stakeholders.
The State House of Assembly promised easy passed of the bill in order to better the lives of Ekiti people.
