The Federal High Court delivered judgment on the issue of breach of the fundamental human rights of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.

The court has ordered the Kano State government to provide compensation of N10 million to Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero for breaching his essential rights to personal freedom and freedom of movement.

The court has also mandated that the security forces avoid arresting, detaining, threatening, intimidating, harassing, or otherwise disrupting Aminu Ado Bayero in the future.
