After few days of hard times for motorists and passers-by on Lokoja-Abuja expressway,people can now move uninterrupted as the road is now free for movement.
Sparklight News learnt that motorists had earlier being making use of an alternative road: Suleja-Bida-Mokwa High way due to the traffic diversion from Lokoja to Abuja road worsening the situation.
The Federal Road Safety Corp issued a statement on Thursday diverting traffic from the Lokoja-Abuja road to alternative routes in Niger, Nasarawa or Benue due to floods that has left motorists stranded in Lokoja.
Earlier today,sparklight news visited and can authoritatively advised that motorists can now travel through Lokoja to Abuja as the roads are now dry.
Although there are still trailers at the koton-karifi but it is still very much faster and motorable for transporters.
