MAPOLY commences Academic activities,warns Covid-19 Violators

Following the directive by the presidential taskforce on Covid-19 that all academic activities be resumed across tertiary institutions in Nigeria on Monday 18th January, 2021, the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has reiterated it commitment to ensuring all covid-19 preventive measures are strictly upheld by the returning students.

In a news release signed by the institution’s registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Adeleye, the school warned that students will not be allowed entry to the campus without strict adherence to all preventive measures aimed at reducing the spread of the virus in Nigeria. In the same manner, the school’s authority advised members of staff against inter-office gathering except for official purposes, warning that violators of the measures would be reprimanded.

On the lecture arrangements meanwhile, the release says National Diploma students, Full-time, will attend lectures between 8:00am and 12 noon and vacate the school before 1:00pm daily, to create room for the Higher National Diploma students whose lectures would begin by 1:00pm and end by 3pm.

Similarly, all Part-time students National Diploma and Higher National Diploma will begin lectures from 3pm, Mondays to Saturdays.

Subsequently, students are advised to finalise thier registration and familiarize themselves with the academic calendar for the 2nd Semester, 2019/2020 academic session. The students will also be able to access the online learning platform via lms.mapolyng.com to complement the in-person lectures in compliance with covid-19 protocols.
