Binta Adamu Bello, Director General of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has arrived in Lagos to receive over a hundred victims of human trafficking rescued in Côte d’Ivoire with the support of Partners.

The victims are been evacuated by Air Peace courtesy of the magnanimity of the foremost airline, which has decided to bring them home free of charge.
She was accompanied by some of the Operatives of the Agency and was received by Mrs. Comfort Agboko, Commander of the Lagos State Command.
Adressing Officers of the Agency at the Command, the Director General commended them for their dedication to duties and unwavering commitment to the realization of the mandates of the Agency and urged them to be more steadfast.
She promised to continue to initiate and implement programmes and policies that will ensure the capacity building of the Officers and their overall welfare.
The victims will be received by the Director General, after which they will be profiled.
