After emerging as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu, has formally tendered his resignation from the Senate.
The move which also has his deputy, Senator Abubakar Kyari representing Borno North resigning from the Upper Chamber.
The duo,Adamu and Kyari tendered their resignation in separate letters read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan on the floor on Tuesday.
Their action was necessitated following their emergence as National Chairman and Deputy National Chairman (North) of the APC respectively
