Ms Onyeka Onwenu, Nigeria music legend has died after a performance in a birthday party in Lagos on Tuesday.
According to reports, She was said to have died at the Reddington Hospital in Lagos after slumping at the birthday party of Mrs. Stella Okoli.
An eyewitness who was at the party who confirmed the tragedy news said: “It is very sad. Onyeka Onwenu just performed at the birthday of Mrs. Stella Okoli on Tuesday, and after performing, she slumped. She was taken to Reddington Hospital and she couldn’t make it.”
The relative and family members are yet to make official statement concerning the demise of Onyeka Onwenu.
