The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has declared a two-day nationwide protest on February 27 and 28 to demand implementation of the 16-point agreement reached with the Federal Government since October 2, 2023.
Joe Ajaero, NLC President disclosed this during a press briefing in Abuja on Friday after an emergency meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the union.
Labour says it will begin mobilisation for the nationwide protest on Thursday, February 22 which is the expiration of an ongoing 14-day ultimatum issued on February 9 if its demands are not met by the Federal Government.
