After defeating Jermaine Franklin earlier this month, Anthony Joshua declared that he will not fight again until December.
Joshua announced this yesterday via his official Instagram page. The post read as follows: “My next fight is Scheduled for December. Not ideal but everything is for a bigger picture.”
After defeating American Franklin by unanimous decision at The O2, he was mentioned in connection with matches against Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury.
Joshua looked to sustain a nose injury during the fight, though, and he later issued a statement on social media indicating a long time sabbatical from the sport.
