The Ogun State Government through its ministry of education has commenced sale of screening forms for the entrance examination into 42 Flagship Secondary Schools for 2023/2024 Academic Session which would close on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
According to a release signed by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu stated that interested candidates or parents should visit the OGSERA portal via https://ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng/apply and log in with their Learners Identification Numbers (LIN) credentials, urging the parents willing to register applicants outside the State to do so by clicking on the ‘’create account button” to register a profile for login.
The release indicated that applicants should select the ‘Screening Application’ under the ‘Enrollment Management’ menu and click on the ‘Create Application’ from the action menu, enter the ‘LIN’ to validate the learners’ record or select the ‘Option’ ‘’From Schools Outside Ogun State” from the filter to enter the profile details.
It enjoined applicants to also click on the ‘Make Payment button’ to make an online payment for the platform, with a registration fee of N5,500 per learner, adding that they should fill and submit the application form and take a printed copy of the form to the school of their first choice for Principal’s signature. Applicants from outside the State were required to submit a copy of their last promotion examination result into primary six before admission consideration.
The release also stated that Screening Test would come up on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the school of their choice
