The Ogun State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has successfully concluded its elections, ushering in a new set of executive members to lead the association for the next four years.
Comrade Akolawole Shoremi emerged as the 10th State Chairman, securing an impressive 138 votes, after his opponent graciously withdrew from the race.
The election, held at the Valley View hall within the Government House premises in Oke-Igbein, Abeokuta, unfolded smoothly, the newly elected officials, elected unopposed in a peaceful atmosphere.
The State Chairman of NYCN, Comrade Akolawole Shoremi while thanking the past presidents and youth stakeholders in his acceptance speech for ensuring a peaceful exercise devoid of rancour promised that his administration will tackle ten agendas which will see to the repositioning of the Ogun State Council.
