The Police in Anambra says it has arrested a notorious kidnapper and armed robbery suspect who has been on the wanted list of the command.
Tochukwu Ikenga, Anambra police command spokesperson disclosed in a statement, saying the suspect was arrested in Ihiala community alongside his operational Lexus SUV and some arms.
The suspect identified as Pablo Mamu was trailed from Ughelli in Delta state, before he was tracked to Ihiala in Anambra state and arrested.
CP Nnaghe Obono, Anambra police commissioner while Commending the synergy between the security operatives and the vigilance of the public in providing intelligence, emphasizes the importance of continued collaboration to ensure safety and security of all residents during and after the festive season.
