Five suspects who were among a group of One Chance syndicates have been arrested by the Rivers state police command.

The suspects, according to a statement by Grace Iringe-koko, command Spokesperson, were apprehended by the surveillance patrol team attached to the Hyper City unit of the state police command, while on patrol along Eastern Bypass in Port Harcourt.
The arrest was said to have been made possible by one of their victims who placed a distress call to the police that her phone and other valuables were snatched by the group in a Volkswagen Vento saloon car with Anambra state registration number.
The team were said to have responded swiftly and intercepted the vehicle, leading to the arrest of the suspects.
CP Olugbenga Adepoju, Rivers state police commissioner while commending his officers for their quick response, said the command is determined to tackle the menace of one chance robbers in the state.
