The National Police Council has confirmed Kayode Egbetokun as the substantive Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
It would be recalled that President Bola Tinubu had appointed Egbetokun, a deputy inspector-general of Police (DIG) Egbetokun, as the acting IGP, pending confirmation by the police council on June,20,2023.
