The Anambra state police command led Joint Security Team comprising the Army, Navy, and local vigilante group have dislodged a camp belonging to suspected kidnappers in Ogbunka community of the state.

Tochukwu Ikenga, State police command Spokesperson disclosed this in a statement, said the Joint Security Team in a six hour gun battle with the armed criminals, due to its Superior firepower diffused some explosives used as Shields on the camp of the hoodlums.
According to the police Spokesperson, lots of relief materials like pots, foodstuffs and parts of dismembered suspected stolen vehicles were recovered from the camp as some of them escaped with various degrees of bullet injuries inflicted on them. The Joint Security Team, according to the police have taken over the camp and area to sustain security dominance aimed at addressing any untoward situation that may arise and to possibly arrest the fleeing suspects.
The Anambra state police command assures residents that the confidence reposed on the command by the citizens to protect lives and property will not be taken for granted.
