Arms, ammunition, and cash amounting to millions of Naira have been recovered by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force Delta state command. The command spokesperson Edafe Bright, in a statement made available to Galaxy news, said the operation was carried out in the remote forest of Bomadi by the special anti-kidnapping squad.

According to the police, five AK 47 rifles, two pump action guns, as well as hundreds of live cartridges and AK 47 magazines, were recovered in the criminal hideout.
Some of the suspects were said to have escaped with gunshot wounds during the invasion of the criminal hideout between Bomadi and Patani, as manhunt continue for the fleeing suspects.
The Delta police commissioner CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, while commanding officers and men of the command for their gallantry, said there will be no hiding place for criminals in Delta state.
