Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based musician of Ilorin descent, famous for his iconic catchphrase, “Koni da fun ebo to se costay,” has passed away.
A family source confirmed that the artist, originally from Ilorin West Local Government Area in Kwara State, died on Friday night.
His captivating performances and distinctive entertainment style garnered him widespread acclaim, especially among socialites.
A family member revealed to ROYAL NEWS that Senwele showed no signs of illness prior to his sudden passing.
“There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” the source said.
Reports suggest that the family received an urgent call from the location where Senwele had been staying with his fans.
“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source revealed.
