President Bola Tinubu has appointed Zahrah Audu as the new Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
This was disclosed in statement issued on Monday, January 20 by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
It was gathered that Zahrah, an accomplished entrepreneur and technology expert, holds a degree in software engineering and a business management qualification from a university in the United Kingdom.
In her role as DG of PEBEC, she is expected to enhance Nigeria’s business environment and attract foreign investments. Her extensive experience in business development, innovation, and investment promotion will be instrumental in driving the council’s objectives.
A recognized philanthropist, Zahrah has previously led the ‘Invest Nigeria’ campaign and coordinated the Existing Foreign Direct Investors Round-table Forum, initiatives that have significantly bolstered Nigeria’s reputation as a favorable investment destination.
