President, Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) Bola Tinubu, has appointed Engineer Chukwumeka Woke as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority on Thursday, May 9 2024; following the announcement by the Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale.
According to the press release, Chukwumeka Woke, is an experienced engineer and a politician, who had served as the Chairman Emohua local government area of River State and also a former Chief of Staff, Government House Port-Harcourt for several years.
“The President expects the new Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority to discharge his duties with integrity and in conformity with the highest standards of transparency, while working at harnessing and developing the water resource potential of the area, as well as ensuring that the Authority is a channel for holistic and integrated industrial, agricultural, and community development”, the press release stated.
