President Bola Tinubu has again approved the payment of N18.4bn to clear the backlog of life insurance for deceased soldiers in the country which has been outstanding since 2011.
Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, made this known yesterday in Enugu during his operational visit to the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army.
This is coming few days after clearing over N12bn backlog of salaries and allowances for Nigeria National teams.
