President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday hosted Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his predecessor Akinwunmi Ambode who paid him a visit at his residence in Lagos.
The duo were part of the Governor Advisory Council (GAC) delegation who paid a courtesy visit to Tinubu, who is currently holidaying in Nigeria’s commercial capital.
Other members of the delegation included 86-year-old Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Deputy governor Femi Hamzat, Alhaji Tunde Balogun, Senator Idiat Adebule, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
Others were former Deputy Governors, Sarah Adebisi Sosan and Adejoke Orelope, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Prince Rabiu Oluwa and Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.
GAC is the highest decision making body of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State. It takes major decisions such as mode of primaries, candidates of the party in elections and even the executives of the party.
GAC has joined the list of many other groups and individuals who have paid a visit to President Tinubu in his Ikoyi residence
