President Bola Tinubu has paid a visit to King Charles Phillips of the United Kingdom.
The Royal family made known, though the details of the visit were not announced.
“Yesterday, The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria visited His Majesty at Buckingham Palace,” the Royal Family on Thursday posted on its official X account along with a picture of the two leaders shaking hands.
This development comes as many states in Nigeria are facing flood disaster.
For instance, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed that over 414,000 people have been displaced, with at least 30 fatalities following a severe flood in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.
This disaster, which struck on Tuesday, is being described as the worst flood the city has seen in 30 years.
