After three days of intense convention and politicking, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been announced winner with a vote of 1271 defeating his closest rival,Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi who scored 316 votes,and Professor Yemi Osibanjo who scored 235.
Other contestants include: Mr Dave Umani scored 38,Ahmed Sanni 04,Pastor Tunde Bakare 0 votes,Senator Rochas Okorocha 0,Governor Yayah Bello,47,Rt Hon Ahmed Lawan scored 30,Chukuemeka Nwajuba 1 votes,Ogbonaya Onu 0 votes,Tein Javk-Rick 0 votes, Professor Ben Ayade and Senator Ahmed Lawan 152.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed having won as APC flagbearer will be slugging it out with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of PDP.
