Following the death of Prof Ibidapo Obe, former Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos and Professor Duro Ajeyalemi,former dean of Education and Students Affairs,the Vice Chancellor, Professor Toyin Ogundipe has ordered closure of the University of Lagos Senior Staff Club with immediate effect.
According to a letter signed by the Registrar, Oladejo Azeez said the measure was to curtail the spread of coronavirus in the country and the second wave of the virus.
The staff club is one of the major building where staffs of the University gather to relax, meet and discuss issues pertaining to staff welfare.
