University of Ibadan Students Protest Against Hike Fees, Power Supply

The students of University of Ibadan has stage a protest against propose power rationing in the university.
The protest commence on Tuesday night and has resume on Wednesday morning after the university management has denied the propose power rationing memo.

Comrade Aweda Damilola, SUG President, noted that the protest was aimed at achieving the following goals,
-Withdrawal of the memo on electricity rationing and provision of a constant electricity supply on campus
-Total reversal of the hike in school fees
-An end to the victimisation of three students who protested on May 13, 2024.

The students are carrying various placards showing their dissatisfaction against the hike school fees and vowed not to end the protest until their demands are met.
