Following issues relating to naira redesign and scarcity, youths and other residents of Oyo State have embarked on protest following the hardship experienced in the country.
The protesters in their large numbers stormed the Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi Ibadan, and attempted to force their way into the Governor’s office.
The protesters were said to have been repelled by security operatives attached to the governor’s office.
Not satisfied, the protesters were said to have thrown stones and other dangerous weapons into the governor’s office.
This is as a result of issues Nigerians have been battling with which include fuel, new naira notes scarcity and erratic power supply for weeks across the nation.
